Leica Binoculars

Leica binoculars are amongst the best brands in today's optics market. They are known to have a high light gathering capability and significantly increase the natural limits of your perception. Leica's product gamma is quite extensive and you will easily find a binocular to match your exact needs, whether your goal is to observe nature, sports, opera, sightseeing, go hunting, etc. Leica binoculars provide excellent performance no matter the environment giving you the ability to see what you never would have seen before. The production process behind Leica binoculars guarantees that each and every binocular is though, reliable and will withstand harsh weather conditions, extreme temperatures. Leica binoculars are divided in the following categories - Ultravid, Tinovid, Duovid and Geovid.

The Ultravid binoculars from Leica are ultralight, made from durable materials and provide unsurpassed image brightness and contrast. There are eight Ultravid models with the main difference between them being the diameter of the lenses. The diameter of the lenses directly influences the image clarity and resolution. The bigger the diameter, the brighter the image will be, because more light gets in, hence the image will be of higher quality. The downside of such larger lenses is that they make the binocular heavier and difficult to carry. That is the reason why sometimes you have to choose between size/weight and image clarity. For the very same reason, Leica has eight different models just in the Ultravid series and all of them differ mainly by the lense diameter.

Leica's Ultravid BR 50 is the top model in this class, has the largest lens diameter - 50mm, providing a richness in contrast and image brightness which was previously unattainable even with larger lens diameters. Has three models with the following levels of magnification - 8, 10 and 12. With the 12x magnification you can view even the tiniest details over long distances. And because of the high twilight performance, viewers will enjoy a high quality image even in weak moonlight.

The Leica Trinovid BN binoculars feature excellent optical characteristics combined with reliability and affordability. They are the perfect choice for hunters that are on the look out for premium optics. Three different models are available here - 42mm, 25mm and 20mm. The Trinovid 8x20 BCA has 8x magnification to give you a large field of view of 113m. This is a truly compact binocular weighing only 235 grams making it really convenient to use. It can easily fit into your pocket so that it will be ready for you every time you run upon something special.

Leica's Duovid binoculars are named Duo, because they combine two binoculars into one. The Duovid models allow you to manually switch between two different levels of magnification. Two models are available - 8+12x42 and the 10+15x50.

What's special about Leica Geovid binoculars is that they not only zoom in on the object you are viewing, but also measure the distance, so that you will know exactly how far you are from your target in any situation.
