Even after the death of Don Burris in 1987, his name lives on as the company that bears his name continues to expand. The next innovation was the "Posi-Lock" (the system that locks your adjustments in once-and-for-all) introduced in 1993. Then came the "Ballistic Plex" in 2000. A very interesting fact about Burris Optics is they used to manufacture all their scopes in Greeley, Colorado. But as labor costs increased, Burris had to either increase the prices of their scope series or decrease the quality.
